Release 1.1: Squid Scratcher (see above for newest version, this one is from back when I made this package of stuff) is an audiofile scratcher and varispeed player (sort of like vinyl) controlled from a MIDI keyboard. Mod Scratcher is a more basic version. Just put the groups in your Bidule groups folder and go. They have short documentation built into the gui - except the MadChord - for this one you must have Tobybear and Bram's 'MadShifta' VST plugin installed (get it at http://www.smartelectronix.com/~bram/ ). It is basically a realtime chord generator that I use with voice or my trumpet. You set each channel for the number of half-steps you want to form the chord. I believe it rounds down, because gui has decimal numbers and I can't get them to display as just integers. Just play around and see if you can get some cool sounds. It sounds like you got a whole brass or backup vocal section, except there's no counterpoint in the voicing - yet! | |
